Established in 2012, Jalou was created with one sole purpose: to bring the best drinks, and music of the North East together to form Newcastle’s first premium late night bar that reflects the glamour and style of the city. At Jalou we offer an experimental take on the classic cocktails you know and love, combining them with nostalgic and seasonal ingredients to create something special. For us, drinks should be more than just a refreshment, they should be an event! From mystical dry ice, sweets, foams and amazing color changing compounds, our team are always on the lookout for the latest trends, ingredients and concoctions from around the world to introduce into our menu.
